STEP FOURCover with a nutrient-rich topsoil. Topsoil should be generously applied to all dead, thin or areas that don’t look healthy. The topsoil will look like small wood chips, and this is exactly what your lawn needs. It should be spread about 1 inch thick. Pro tip: when applying, flip your metal rake over with the prongs facing the sky. Use the top, flat portion of the rake to smooth out any clumps of topsoil and ensure it is evenly spread in the affected areas. |
